Capcom has released its Lost Planet: Extreme Condition to retail stores today across North America. Lost Planet sold very well for the Xbox 360 and it looks like PS3 owners will be privy to some special features such as new unlockable characters as well as multiplayer modes.

Capcom® Entertainment, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced that Lost Planet™: Extreme Condition, the riveting sci-fi action shooter for PLAYSTATION®3, has begun shipping to retail stores across North America. Lost Planet carries a suggested retail price of $39.99 and is rated “T” for Teen by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB).
