Alienware has announced the PC Gaming Season Open, which they are putting on in partnership with iGames centers across the United States. The Counterstrike: Source tournaments will begin on June 28th with double elimination rounds at each of the 8 iGames locations. Then on Sunday, the finalists will complete in a WAN elimination round. There is $7,500 dollars in prize money in total for the event with the winner of the Sunday battles receiving $1,250 dollars.

Leading game center organization iGames today announced the details of the Alienware $7,500 PC Gaming Season Open, the latest event in its popular Gamers Tour (www.gamerstour.com), featuring a two-day, double-elimination Counter-Strike: Source frag-fest at 8 select iGames centers in California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Michigan, and Texas.
WHERE & WHEN:
Saturday & Sunday, June 28-29, at 8 select iGames member centers across the US & Canada. Saturday will be a double-elimination local LAN tournament with a maximum of 8 teams at each of 8 participating centers (64 teams, maximum). The 8 winning teams, one from each center, will advance to Sunday, which is a WAN (online) double-elimination tournament against other LAN winners, presented in association with CEVO (www.cevo.com). Participating centers for both days include:
• GameFrog in Winston-Salem, NC
• Gigabits LAN in Orlando, FL
• Gamestation in Cornwall, NY
• CyGamZ in Ypsilanti, MI
• Howie’s Game Shack in Westminster, CA
• Euphnet Cyber Café v3 in San Jose, CA
• The Digital Nexus in Toms River, NJ
• Xtreme Gaming Cybercafe in San Antonio, TX

• Highlight Video: A highlight video, featuring the best shots from the events as well as camera shots from the centers themselves, will be created by renowned eSports videographer Michael “numlocked” Cragg which will be released at www.alienware.com on July 21st.
