Speaking in Gamespot.com Interview, Ed Boon’s confirmed that all of the Mortal Kombat characters and DC villains will have fatalities, whilst the DC heroes will have brutalities, because they’re goodies and aren’t allowed to kill people.
Brutalities will function exactly like fatalities, but without killing the opponent, so you’ll get to see Batman beating the hell out of the likes of Scorpion, which is always great.
