In light of a recent interview with GI in which Bungie's Marty O' Donnell claims that the pre-owned games market even cut into Halo 3's sales figures, our fearless leader and editor has posted his thoughts on the pre-owned situation at his official blog.

'So do we blame the gamers for simply selling something that should have taken longer to play through, or do we blame lazy developers and publishers for their inability to flesh out a product for more than eight hours? By making these games shorter and shorter, they are proverbially “shooting themselves in the foot''
