For those of you who were gaming back in the wonderful year of 1997, you may remember a little gem from Bullfrog called Dungeon Keeper. You played the real-time strategy game from the role of the traditional 'bad guys' and built up your dungeon in an attempt to keep those pesky 'heroes' (such as Knights, Paladins, etc) out of it. Well, Chinese MMO-maker NetDragon Websoft has acquired the rights to make an MMO based on the title from Electronic Arts. The game will begin in Far Eastern markets but could potentially move to Western regions.

Official Release:
NetDragon Websoft Inc., a leading game developer and operator in the People's Republic of China announced a new licensing agreement with Electronic Arts Inc. on the development of the Group's first 3D massively multi-player online role playing game (MMORPG) based on Electronic Arts' 'Dungeon Keeper(TM)' line of games -- including themes, characters and other game content. As part of this agreement, NetDragon will develop the game and obtains the exclusive license to operate and distribute Dungeon Keeper Online throughout the Greater China region, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
