EA/DICE's free-running masterpiece Mirror's Edge ships to retail stores across the land today for the PC. The game puts you in the shoes of a 'runner' who's purpose is to traffic information in a death-defying game of cat and mouse. Unfortunately for Faith, the game's protagonist, she is the mouse most of the time. Also on the horizon, a DLC pack for Mirror's Edge will become available on the Xbox 360 and PS3 for $10 dollars (or 800 Microsoft Points) on January 29th and will include seven new time trial maps.

DICE, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio (NASDAQ:ERTS), today announced that the critically acclaimed first-person action adventure title, Mirror's Edge(TM) has shipped for the PC to retailers in North America and will ship worldwide on January 16th. Players who purchase the PC version of the game will also receive a free copy of the Mirror's Edge remix album. The album features the popular title track 'Still Alive' performed by Swedish rock/pop star Lisa Miskovsky and remixes by some of today's hottest artists including Benny Benassi, Paul van Dyk and Armand Van Helden.
