Running across the web today is the first part of the Half-Life 2 inspired short film series from the Purchase Brothers titled 'Escape from City 17'. The first two episodes have apparently cost roughly $500 dollars to make which is shocking, considering the production value apparent in them. The Purchase Brothers' website can be located here but is down temporarily, probably due to bandwidth issues.
