Looks like Blizzard may be tipping their hand a bit with regards to their currently in-production, yet unannounced MMO. That, or, a new World of Warcraft expansion - only time will tell! Recently, the MMO behemoth applied for three different servicemarks on the word 'Cataclysm'. This news was first discovered by this Tumblr blog.
The three trademarks seem to cover all the bases for either possibility of a new product as they refer not only to 'Entertainment services, namely, providing on-line computer games...' but also 'Computer game software and related instruction manuals and guides...' and 'Comic books, computer game strategy guides, trading cards, coloring books, adhesive stickers, rub-on transfers, notebooks...'.
We recently were invited to BlizzCon so be sure to stay-tuned for any new Cataclysm-news!
You can see the full information listings on the three servicemarks here, here, and here.
