LucasArts is teasing a new big announcement for Monday (July 6th) morning via their official Twitter account. The news, they say, will be 'awesome' for their 'old school fans'.
Well, as one of their 'old school' fans there are only two things that I would consider amazing at this point: They are creating the next in the series of original trilogy Star Wars space combat games (X-Wing, Tie Fighter, etc) or they are announcing Full Throttle 2. Obviously, there are a billion other possibilities from Day of the Tentacle to Zak McKraken so stay-tuned for more as it breaks!

'Amazing news coming Monday! Super excited! You have no idea how tough it is not to start yelling about it! But it's secret! Until Monday!'
Tweet Two:
'I don't want to tease, it is just tough not to say anything! I might be tempted, however. Have to think about it over the weekend. ;)'
Tweet Three:
'Okay, we will do hints. It is awesome news for our old school fans. (anything more direct might get me in trouble)'
*UPDATE (7:33pm PST): Nothing really new to report on the matter at this point, although LucasArts' Twitter account did retweet this article. That gave me some hope of a Full Throttle sequel. But then, they scoffed at our feeble and lame guesses with this tweet:
'@GamingShogun those are the only two amazing things we could announce? C'mon man, have some imagination ;)'
You may think you have won this round LucasArts, but we will figure it out soon!
